Position Description:
This position will participate in the design, development, implementation, analysis, and administration of Ameritas compensation programs including both base salary and sales commissions (variable). This includes acting as a compensation subject matter expert to ensure compliance and accuracy of data records, market analysis, administrative processes, and compensation structure.
Position Location:
- This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home.
What you do:
- Administer Ameritas compensation programs, including base salary, incentive, and variable (sales) compensation. This role will be a heavy focus on administering our variable compensation programs.
- Complete compensation surveys and review survey results to ensure both internal and external competitiveness.
- Analyze work performed to determine appropriate job level and salary.
- Conduct regular audits of compensation data within the HRIS and other platforms to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Conduct recurring reviews of compensation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Prepare communication including incentive statements and educational materials to all levels of the organization.
- Assist on strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, special projects, and implementing new programs.
What you bring:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
- 1-3 years of related compensation experience required.
- Sales (variable) compensation administration experience is preferred.
- Strong Excel proficiency including Pivot Tables, X Lookups, and IF Statements.
