About the Role


We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compensation Analyst to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation structures while ensuring compliance with organizational objectives and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will excel in job analysis, evaluation, market research, and data-driven decision-making to support strategic initiatives. This role offers an opportunity to play a critical part in shaping and maintaining equitable and competitive compensation practices that align with organizational success. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain up-to-date job descriptions for each position in the organization.
  • Conduct comprehensive job analyses through interviews with employees and managers to document duties, responsibilities, and required skills.
  • Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or non-exempt and appropriate salary range. 
  • Perform market research and benchmarking to create and sustain competitive compensation structures.
  • Prepare and maintain salary scales aligned with organizational goals and market trends.
  • Analyze compensation data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and implement compensation policies and practices in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Stay informed about labor law changes and HR compliance trends to mitigate risks and ensure audit readiness.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to employees and managers regarding compensation and related HR matters.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

 

Skills and Expertise 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Compensation Analyst or Compensation Specialist. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices, compensation systems, and labor law compliance.
  • Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and foster collaboration at all levels.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technology systems as needed. 
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or CCP preferred.
