Job Summary:

We are excited to welcome an experienced Compensation Manager to our dynamic and growing HR team. In this pivotal role, you will have the unique opportunity to help shape our broader compensation strategies and uncover valuable insights through our data. Reporting directly to the CHRO, you will play a crucial role in supporting our compensation programs, helping us attract, support, and retain the best talent in our industry. In this role, you will: (responsibilities are not exhaustive)

  • Collaborate on compensation plan designs and suggest new elements to consider based on data collected and market trends.
  •  Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommend changes that incorporate market trends, competitive pay practices, and the firm’s goals.
  •  Conduct annual benchmarking and review compensation resources to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Assist in the development and administration of short term and long term incentives.
  • Conduct job evaluations and market pricing to ensure both internal and external equity.
  • Support new mergers by providing benchmarking insights and best practices.
  • Analyze compensation data within PayFactors and UKG to ensure data integrity and share insights.
  • Partner with local HR and operational leaders to provide guidance on compensation based on best practices.
  • Lead the annual total reward statement process across offices.
  • Promote an understanding of compensation philosophies, practices, and administration.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with various national, state, provincial, and local pay regulations.
  • Research and report on market trends to support future strategies.

Skills/abilities:

  • A minimum of 5 -7 years’ experience as a Compensation Manager, Senior Compensation Analyst or in a related role required.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.
  • Experience with M&A activity is preferred.
  • Collaborative interpersonal skills.
  • Expert Excel skill level required.
  • Extensive knowledge of compensation program design and implementation, including local, state, provincial, and federal pay requirements.
  • Ability to influence and manage change within a virtual environment.
  • Superior verbal and written communication.
  • Experience with Payfactors or similar compensation tool preferred.

Location: Remote, flexible home base location

Travel: Limited travel is expected

Compensation Range:  $90,000-$125,000 USD
