This is a full-time remote position where candidates must be Eastern Time Zone. This role offers $75,000 - $85,000 salary with a robust benefits package including: 15 days of vacation, 7 paid holidays and 5 sick days annually, health/dental/vision plans start first day of work, employer paid life insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with a company match after 6 months of service and more.  The Compensation Analyst is responsible for tracking and calculating compensation of medical providers. This role involves tracking and analyzing compensation data, ensuring compliance with agreements, responding to providers’ inquiries, and assisting the Director of Provider Compensation, as well as collaborating with the Payroll, Human Resources, Recruiting and Operations teams to deliver accurate and timely pay to our medical providers nationwide. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Track and calculate compensation for medical providers (W-2s and 1099 contractors) based on their contracts/agreements.  Ensure pay is issued to providers timely and accurately. 
  • Maintain database to be sure payroll can be calculated properly and timely. 
  • Provide back up for other payrolls when needed. 
  • Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Recruiting and Operations teams for the delivery of pay to providers. 
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on compensation analysis to support decision-making processes. 
  • Prepare and present reports on compensation trends and analysis to senior management. 
  • Provide analytical support for provider questions relating to revenues. Learn to identify issues driving poor collections and to be able to respond timely to provider questions and concerns.  
  • Assists in the preparation of departmental annual operational budgets, as well as interpretation and variance reporting as it relates to the provider compensation.  
  • Assist in other non-payroll related tasks when time permits for special projects that will arise. 
Education and Skill Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, HR, Business Administration, or a related fields. 
  • 2 years’ experience calculating medical providers’ compensation. 
  • 2 years’ experience communicating with medical providers.  Comfortable speaking with providers about their compensation and issues. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new technologies. 
  • Proficiency with compensation management software or HRIS is a plus. 
  • Great attitude and willingness to work with others professionally in a remote setting, 
  • Ability to travel occasionally as required for training and meetings. 

Physical Requirements: 
  • Remote work environment, requiring reliable internet and telephone service. 
  • Occasional onsite visits to clinical settings. 
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. 
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
