Job Purpose:
This position performs a variety of sales compensation activities to ensure complete, timely, and accurate maintenance and administration of Sales Compensation programs for all company-wide Sales Incentive Plans (“SIP”) and LPL Financial and Financial Institute Divisions (“FID”) channel advisor/credit union program compensation. This position is responsible for the calculations, formulas, analysis, evaluation, quality assurance, reporting, and business technical duties required for completing the daily, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles to support all SIP and Sales Compensation activity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative and technical support activities for all SIP plans and LPL Financial and FID channel advisor/credit union program compensation, ensuring quality, accurate, and timely delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, building formulas, performing calculations, data research and mining, and design/creation of reports and presentation materials.
- Interpret the high-level design of SIP plans and LPL Financial and FID channel advisor/credit union program compensation, and accurately translate the design into detail business process specifications for both the system implementation and ongoing administration activities.
- Assess, plan, lead, and deliver all testing and quality assurance efforts for Sales Compensation plan implementations and updates.
- Provide input and assistance for all efforts which ensure that supporting technology for Sales Compensation is updated to optimal operational fit and quality for the SIP and Sales Compensation requirements of the organization.
- Resolve complex issues and requests, both routine and special, through innovative solutions, and in a thorough, prompt, and appropriate manner.
- Provide assistance, education, and supportive feedback to external business customers, managers and front-line incumbents related to their sales incentive plan and payments.
- Identify and help to implement process improvement efforts to streamline processes, increase productivity and gain efficiencies in order to provide cost effective value to our customers. This includes compliance with balance and control procedures for processes to ensure data is processed accurately and efficiently.
- Promote and maintain an open and active communication methodology with interactive participation. Communicate in a proactive manner with peers and manager about the status of work in progress and potential impacts to each other.

Job Requirements:
List of general education, background and experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities typically required to effectively perform the responsibilities of the job. Also include any required licenses and/or designations.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years progressively responsible work experience in compensation, payroll, accounting, or systems support.
- Knowledge or demonstrated ability to quickly learn relevant computer systems that support sales incentives and compensation (ex: TrueComp, Rep Info Center, Workday, etc.)
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control of data, with demonstrated ability to problem solve and innovate.
- Ability to work under pressure, and balance multiple simultaneous assignments and deadlines.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft applications is needed; advance understanding of Excel is critical.
- Ability to quickly learn TruStage’s organization, field and sales team structure, sales incentives and compensation plans, as well as relevant accounting and administration systems and data warehouses.
- Demonstrated ability and confidence to recommend proposals, express creativity, implement solutions,
- Proven ability to clearly and effectively communicate in person and in writing to various levels of the organization and external customers.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Insurance or Brokerage Industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of the Credit Union marketplace preferred
- Working experience with SAP Commissions/TrueComp system platform preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access Databases preferred
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Database Query Tools suck SQL server databases.
- Central Time Zone preferred, but Eastern or Mountain will be considered, based on coverage for the sales area.

Base Salary Range:
$81,500.00 - $122,300.00
