Job Summary
Position is responsible conducting comprehensive and complex analysis related to physician compensation and provider productivity.Desired Skill Set:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; or equivalent training. Master’s Degree preferred in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
Licenses/Certifications: (None)
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in compensation analysis.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
High level of discretion and strong analytical skills required.
Advanced Excel skills required.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Interprets, analyzes and implements compensation arrangement outlined in Physician Employment Agreements and Professional Services Agreements.
Conducts comprehensive and complex analysis related to physician compensation and provider productivity.
Manages annual compensation reconciliation summaries for physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Provides recommendations on physician base salary adjustments.
Manages and accurately updates provider base compensation.
Provides guidance and recommendations regarding physician compensation and provider productivity to key stakeholders.
Collaborates closely with external appraisers / consultants on the data gathering and analysis for Fair Market Value (FMV) and Commercial Reasonableness (CR) reviews.
Trains and provides guidance to new Physician Compensation and Productivity Analysts.
Assists with the development of the annual budget.
Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
