Required Skills and Abilities:

• Moderate experiences in Workers’ Compensation product experience in the field of regulatory compliance. 
• Knowledge of WCPOLS and WINS/AS400 systems required
• Detail-oriented, highly analytical and organized.
• Excellent skills in project management, time management, process improvement, written and oral communication. Must be an analytical thinker with an outstanding customer service orientation. 

Desired Skills and Abilities:

• Multiline P&C experience and ISO/AAIS bureau knowledge would be useful but not required.

The U.S. pay range for this position is USD 53,100 – 84,000. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience, and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues’ pay.

Workers’ Compensation Business Analyst

Exton, PA I Hartford, CT I USA

As a Business Analyst, you will play an integral role in AXA XL’s US (Re) Insurance Regulatory and Compliance Services operations.  This team is part of AXA XL’s Underwriting Excellence Department, which is a dynamic team that services a wide variety of underwriting and regulatory needs for our business.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

• Review and disseminate Workers’ Compensation criticism letters and weekly Workers’ Compensation bureau criticism reports. Analyze penalties from all fining states and dispute fines as needed. Monitor policy reporting performance and bureau data quality reports.
• The Business Analyst is the conduit between Workers’ Compensation bureaus (e.g., NCCI) and IT.  You will be involved in reviewing circulars and bulletins to determine new compliance requirements for the Policy Issuance process and WCPOLS reporting. Initialize IT (WINS) programming changes and work with IT and Underwriting Operations throughout entire project life cycle.
• Own special projects assigned by the Department’s leadership team.

You will report to the Senior Manager of the Regulatory and Compliance Services team.
