Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable Compensation Analyst to support a comprehensive compensation study and pay equity analysis. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Lead Consultant and project team to assess job classifications, benchmark salaries, and ensure compliance with relevant labor regulations (including Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analyze salary survey data to develop competitive pay structures.
- Evaluate job classifications, job descriptions, and pay ranges for alignment with market data.
- Identify pay discrepancies and potential equity issues, recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with the Lead Consultant to deliver actionable insights, data models, and written reports.
- Stay current on compensation trends, legal compliance, and best practices in human resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- Proven experience in compensation analysis, job evaluation, and salary survey methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (knowledge of Power BI or Tableau a plus).
- Familiarity with relevant HR regulations, such as FLSA, EEO, and state-level equal pay laws.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
