The Classification and Compensation Specialist will administer an effective and equitable classification and compensation program at Salisbury University. The incumbent will assess current policies and procedures, examine workforce data and facilitate the implementation of state or university level compensation initiatives. The incumbent will provide specialized training and support the University community to enhance best practice.Authority and Accountability
The position requires analysis of sophisticated business problems to be solved with configuration solutions. Our roles are fast-paced and focus on analyzing challenging problems and coming up with solutions to a variety of operational critical issues, all while running various projects and initiatives. Decision making includes ensuring compliance with legal/regulatory and policy interpretation and application. As such, they must be very detailed, self-motivated, results oriented, and an excellent communicator. No direct reports or budgetary responsibility.
