We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resources team and be located at our Parsippany, NJ Creative Center! The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for evaluating, designing, and administering compensation programs to ensure that our compensation strategy aligns with business objectives, market competitiveness, and internal equity. This role involves conducting market research, analyzing salary data, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compensation Analysis: Conduct regular market research and benchmark salary data to ensure competitiveness of compensation packages.
- Salary Surveys: Participate in external salary surveys and collect market data to evaluate trends and adjust compensation strategies accordingly.
- Job Evaluation: Assess job roles and responsibilities to ensure proper alignment with pay structures.
- Internal Equity: Analyze internal compensation data to ensure equitable pay practices across departments and levels.
- Compensation Planning: Support the development and implementation of compensation strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Reporting: Prepare and present compensation reports for HR leadership, providing insights on compensation trends, gaps, and recommendations.
- Compliance: Ensure compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Employee Communication: Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding compensation-related questions, policies, and procedures.
- Compensation System Maintenance: Assist in maintaining compensation management in ADP Workforce now include salary structures, job descriptions and comp structures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related HR role.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of compensation structures and trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Knowledge of compensation best practices and legal requirements (e.g., FLSA, Equal Pay Act).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Compensation (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional - CCP).
- Experience with compensation management software (e.g., Workday, PayScale, etc.).
