DescriptionResearch, design and recommend compensation and bonus systems or enhancements through benchmarking and staying abreast of industry trends. Administer corporate 401(k) benefit plans and program; maintain compliance with plan and governmental regulations.

- Maintain compliance with all governmental regulations, including keeping abreast of changing Federal and State regulations and legislation that may affect 401(k) plans or Compensation.
- Monitor competitive trends in compensation including hourly and salaried compensation and bonus systems, variable pay programs and identify Learning Care Group’s position compared to the market through research or salary surveys.
- Ensure new hire and existing employee pay rate changes conform with compensation guidelines via participation in salary surveys, as well as research and analysis for equity and salary structure fit.
- Provide support with annual company merit increases, including auditing, analyzing and calculating of data as well as communication to ensure budgetary measures are followed.
- Facilitate use of variable pay plans or ad hoc bonus plans by tracking performance against defined metrics, evaluating effectiveness, modeling proposals and providing suggestions/analysis as needed.
- Handle all deferrals and loans in 401(k) plan including reporting and analysis on delinquent and deemed loans on a quarterly basis.
- Interact with vendor to ensure compliance with plan provisions and their services are properly provided to plan participants including knowledge of the vendor website features/reports.
- Oversee any and all updates or revisions for 401(k) Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and all other plan documents and communications, including SARs, QDIAs, etc..
- Conduct regular system reports and manipulates raw data into usable versions for analysis including uploading of data to/from FTP sites.
- Transmit weekly contribution files to vendor via wire and researching any reconcilement issues/errors.
- Perform annual items such as nondiscrimination tests to ensure plan complies with governmental regulations, as well as compiling data for the 5500 report filing to ensure filing within appropriate deadlines.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Human Resources
- Minimum 3 years of Human Resources/Compensation experience, preferably in a multi-unit company
- PHR or CCP preferred
