The Compensation Analyst is responsible for analyzing and managing the organization's compensation programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company's goals. This role involves conducting market research, developing compensation structures, and providing recommendations to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
Conduct market analysis to benchmark compensation against industry standards.
Develop and maintain compensation structures and salary ranges.
Collaborate with the People team and management to design and implement compensation programs.
Analyze compensation data to identify trends and make recommendations.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation.
Provide support and education to employees regarding compensation policies. Conduct one-on-one sessions with employees to explain compensation structures.
Support the development of job descriptions and evaluation processes.
Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding compensation inquiries.
Support Talent Acquisitions in making offers for the talent process ensuring pay programs attract and retain top talent, reinforce the health systems values, and drive a high-performance culture.
Support the administration of merit and incentive planning processes.
Participate in compensation surveys, perform job matching, and conduct ad-hoc benchmarking and market research.
Support and champion change through implementing, documenting, refining Total Rewards policies and documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
• 3 years experience in compensation, with at least 2 years focused on compensation analysis with exempt and non-exempt employees
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• Proven experience designing and implementing compensation programs in a startup or high-growth environment
