DescriptionAs a member of the Global Compensation Team, the Compensation Manager provides comprehensive compensation analysis and reporting in support of North America business units and supports the global execution of the company’s annual compensation planning cycle.
This role will ideally sit in our Whitehouse Station, NJ office. Other Chubb office locations will be considered.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute a broad range of compensation activities, including:
- Management of the annual compensation planning cycle for designated businesses and functions including testing and ensuring proper functionality of the global compensation planning system
- Manage global survey library and lead participation in U.S. salary surveys.
- Consult with HR Business Partners and leaders on compensation processes and provide complex analysis.
- Partner with HR and business clients to develop compensation strategies related to business and organizational change.
- Assess jobs and their respective duties to determine appropriate career bands and levels and corresponding compensation targets/employee pay.
- Gather data from market-based compensation surveys using spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results, market trends and pay equity.
- Participate in and assist with global compensation projects as required.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
- 5 or more years of experience in administering compensation programs
- Experience as a compensation analyst preferred
- Excellent quantitative and analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience in working with large global data sets
- Strong Excel skills
- Able to work independently and with ambiguity; owns projects and assignments from start-to-end
- Must have a strong customer focus, be proactive and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate within a matrixed, geographically dispersed organization
- Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships
- Strong organizational and time management skills
The pay range for the role is $92,500 to $158,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
