Job Title: Compensation Analyst (Consulting/Contract Position)

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona (onsite) Monday -Friday (40 hours per week – flexible work hours)

Position Summary: onsemi is seeking an experienced Compensation Analyst to assist our Compensation team on a consulting or contract basis.  In this role, you will assist in the design, development, and administration of onsemi’s global compensation programs. You will collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Talent Acquisition, and business leaders on strategy and compensation-related inquiries. The ability to manage competing and shifting priorities is essential. This role requires significant attention to detail and the ability to work with all levels of leadership within the organization.


 



Responsibilities

 

Potential Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting  job and market analysis to support the long-term goals of the total rewards strategy.
  • Develop and implement compensation and costing analysis solutions aligned with the total rewards strategy.
  • Provide regular and consistent analysis to support compensation core processes, projects, and initiatives.
  • Consult with HR partners and recruiters regarding compensation policy interpretation, new hire offers, promotions, market analysis, job evaluation, and other compensation projects and initiatives.
  • Administer global compensation programs, including the annual merit review, bonus program, and salary range development.
  • Support compensation projects from design through execution, including modeling, project planning, communication, and training.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing internal compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures, recommending revisions to maintain competitiveness and fiscal responsibility.
  • Oversee periodic audits to ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Identify, develop, and document procedures to streamline compensation processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Accurately analyze and prioritize details while consistently producing error-free work.


 



Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field; CCP certification is a plus.
  • 6+ years of compensation experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of compensation programs in a diverse, global environment, preferably within high-tech or manufacturing industries.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to align compensation goals with business needs.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to manage large, complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to act with discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment.
  • Self-starter with strong time management and task prioritization skills.
