DescriptionThe Compensation Director will provide collaborative leadership of compensation processes to support the attraction and retention of a global workforce. This position is responsible for the planning, developing, implementing, and administering of compensation programs, policies, and processes that are strategic in design and pro-active in supporting the Enterprise’s long-term goals. This position is also responsible for ensuring that the company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations. This position will be instrumental in delivering on our Employee Value Proposition.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the designing, implementing, and continuously evaluating the compensation programs of the company
- Sets objectives and guidelines amongst the staff, delegates responsibilities, facilitates research and assessments, and developments strategies to optimize compensation operations
- Oversees the collection of wage, salary, and incentive survey data to ensure the organization's compensation programs/objectives are competitive.
- Provides advice and counsel to management regarding salary and incentive plan issues including policy and guideline interpretation, new hire offers, internal equity, market adjustments, and regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for the development of annual merit increase budgets and salary structure movement based on market data, our competitive positions, and budgetary constraints.
- Head of one or more departments or segments of the organization, with responsibility for working closely with top management to establish broad plans that contribute to the development and implementation of policies that affect several functional areas. Has assigned budgetary responsibilities.
- Keeps apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.

QualificationsREQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree from four-year college or university required
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in human resources/compensation or relevant experience.
- 4 years of people leadership experience in building, managing and/or developing high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to lead in a changing environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in relationship building with all levels of leadership
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- CCP certification
- Master’s degree or equivalent
- SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification
- Other HR function experience (Employment, Benefits, Training, etc.)
What you can expect the physical demands to be?
Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds; visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.
What will the work environment be like?
Work will be in a professional corporate office environment operating and functioning at a fast pace. Our corporate campus includes an on-site café with various daily breakfast, lunch and snack-time selections, a sizeable fitness center equipped with various state-of-the-art workout equipment & weights, outdoor walking/jogging-path, herb garden, basketball half-court, sand-volleyball court, and soccer field. Office noise will be low and generally consist of neighbors’ phone-calls, conversations and/or laughter. You can expect people to treat you with friendliness and respect throughout the Zachry campus.
