Job Summary
The highly analytical role is responsible for the development of reports for the purposes of gathering, analyzing, and manipulating data for various requests and projects.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of data by creating automated data integrity audits
Navigate, understand, and leverage existing complex data structures for reporting
This role researches, identifies and recommends projects to ensure compliance and integrity.
This role performs complex analysis to support compensation initiatives, this includes evaluating pay programs and structures prior to implementation as well as on-going audits to mitigate compression and compliance.
This position is expected to apply wage and hour knowledge and compensation knowledge to support established objectives.
This position will be required to work and collaborate across the organization to assess functional needs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Conducts data audits on a normal cadence ensuring data integrity and wage and hour compliance
Performs complex analysis and reporting to drive business decision making
Demonstrates wage and hour knowledge and supports education and training. .
Develop analysis to support pay strategies to address and resolve pay disparity and pay compression issues.
Supports projects with network-wide impact, including the development of an overall compensation philosophy, pay and grading analysis.
This role will build, maintain and enhance compensation technology tools.
Participates in benchmarking with contracted vendors and seeks out local surveys to target areas to support pay recommendations.
Participates as a subject matter expert on cross-functional and corporate project teams and supports various projects as required.
Researches market trends and builds relationships in HR COEs to ensure pay practices are administered in line with policy.
The compensation analyst will create plan documents for new or amended pay practices
Partners with HR COEs and field management to obtain feedback, compiles insights and provides detailed reporting to Compensation leadership for decision making.

CANDIDATE SUMMARY
Required Experience
A minimum of 3+ years experience in Compensation with progressive experience
Experience in data mining, cleansing and report development.
Experience developing and presenting analysis, and findings to Leaders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to operate and influence cross-functionally at all levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving orientation with enthusiasm for digging into and solving cross-functional business, operational and organizational issues
Excellent listening skills.
Proven ability to work with cross functional teams and to facilitate collaboration across functional boundaries.
Required Leadership Traits and Characteristics
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong understanding of compensation components and legal requirements
Ability to interact and direct vendors and their services
Ability to influence with data
Demonstrable people management skills and the ability to lead a diverse team
Strong communication skills
Good change management skills
Formal Education, Qualifications or Training
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, Master’s degree preferred
3 or more years in a compensation role with progressive responsibility
CPP or Microsoft/Google data tools certification a plus
Experience in the implementation, and administration of various types of compensation programs including the development and maintenance of pay structures
Ability to present detailed analysis and market considerations in an approachable way
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
Experience in M&A projects, and/or integration projects is a plus
Demonstrable working knowledge of wage & hour concepts, laws and regulations, and human resources systems and reporting tools
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google applications, Workday experience preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
