Position Overview:
As a Senior Compensation Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing compensation strategies that support and recognize the hard work of our shop employees—the heart of our company. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to develop thoughtful and impactful compensation programs, guide stakeholders in making informed pay decisions, and build trust in our compensation practices across the organization. You may also contribute to the design of broader corporate initiatives, such as equity compensation, bonus plans, annual reward planning, and executive compensation. This position offers the chance to collaborate closely with HR business partners and senior leaders within the field organization, ensuring our compensation programs align with both employee needs and business goals.
Job Qualifications:
10 or more years of progressive experience within the Compensation profession, to have included significant experience designing compensation plans in fast growing organizations, required
Additional training or graduate degree in Business, Human Resources, or Compensation Management, preferred
Experience with compensation policies related to food service or similar industries, preferred
Experience with Executive Comp, Equity Comp, and/or Incentive Compensation, preferred
Prior management of annual compensation planning cycle
Location Requirement:
This role is located in the Greater Phoenix area. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs); Fridays are optional remote work days.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
Consult with business leaders and HR Business Partners on all questions and topics related to pay competitiveness, compliance, and plan design
Work with complex compensation data and develop models to drive insight and drive decision-making
Provide market analyses; Prepare compensation reports and insights for leadership and executive teams
Participate on enterprise-wide compensation design projects which may involve incentive plans, equity compensation, and/or executive compensation
Partner with recruiters and leaders to develop fair and competitive offer strategies to support the organization’s growth plans
Develop and deliver total compensation communications, including training, compensation statements, videos and other materials
Play a strong role in managing the annual compensation planning process
Partner with Finance on cost projections and budget planning for compensation & rewards programs

Physical Requirements:
In-Office Environment: Must be able to work in a busy, crowded, and loud office with frequent distractions and interruptions
Must be able to collaborate in-person with occasional impromptu in-person meetings
Office Conditions: Adaptability to typical office conditions, which may include exposure to air conditioning, heating, artificial lighting, and varying noise levels
Mobility: Ability to sit, stand, reach, twist, stretch, and work at a desk for long stretches. Must be able to occasionally move or lift office items up to 25 pounds
Hearing Requirements: Hearing must be sufficient or correctable to ensure clear understanding of spoken information, including participating in virtual meetings and phone calls. Use of hearing aids or other assistive devices is acceptable if needed.
Reading and Writing Proficiency: Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing documents, drafting reports, and following up on necessary actions. Proficiency in written communication is required to handle job-related tasks effectively.
Vision Requirements: Vision must be adequate or correctable to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents on a computer screen and using other visual tools. Use of corrective lenses or other measures to meet visual requirements is expected if needed.
Technology Proficiency: Must be proficient in operating a computer and other office productivity tools such as printers, scanners, and collaboration software.
Effective Communication: Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders via email, video conferencing, and other in office communication tools.
Compensation:
$184,000 - DOE
