Salary Range: $120,000 to $130,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience
 
Terrific Total Rewards Manager ("TRM") position with a highly respected social services nonprofit in NYC. The TRM will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies related to benefits, leaves/accommodations management, compensation, and HRIS functions. The position will directly manage a team of two and oversee benefits administration to approximately 400 staff.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage HR functions including benefits administration, leave management, and related areas
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for benefits, leaves, and accommodations
  • Ensure the organization is compliant with any relevant laws, regulations, procedures, and policies
  • Create and implement effective strategies for benefits open enrollment
  • Responsible for HRIS, reporting, and analytics
  • Develop compensation guidelines that are consistent and complete market studies
  • Manage relationships with benefit vendors
  • Inform leadership of industry trends and regulatory issues related to benefits and compensation
  • Oversee and manage a team of two
  • Collaborate with in-house counsel and other leadership as needed
 
Qualifications:
  • Approximately 5-10+ years of relevant experience including benefits, leaves, compensation, and HRIS 
  • Experience managing staff
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree and HR certification preferred
  • Strong HRIS database management skills; experience with ADP or similar system
  • Ability to show empathy when interfacing with constituents
  • Experience working with outside vendors and collaborating with teams internally
  • Understanding of FMLA and other relevant legal requirements
