Total Rewards Manager Nonprofit Social Services Organization New York City Area - Hybrid Position Salary Range: $120,000 to $130,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience
Terrific Total Rewards Manager ("TRM") position with a highly respected social services nonprofit in NYC. The TRM will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies related to benefits, leaves/accommodations management, compensation, and HRIS functions. The position will directly manage a team of two and oversee benefits administration to approximately 400 staff.
Responsibilities:
Manage HR functions including benefits administration, leave management, and related areas
Serve as the subject matter expert for benefits, leaves, and accommodations
Ensure the organization is compliant with any relevant laws, regulations, procedures, and policies
Create and implement effective strategies for benefits open enrollment
Responsible for HRIS, reporting, and analytics
Develop compensation guidelines that are consistent and complete market studies
Manage relationships with benefit vendors
Inform leadership of industry trends and regulatory issues related to benefits and compensation
Oversee and manage a team of two
Collaborate with in-house counsel and other leadership as needed
Qualifications:
Approximately 5-10+ years of relevant experience including benefits, leaves, compensation, and HRIS
Experience managing staff
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree and HR certification preferred
Strong HRIS database management skills; experience with ADP or similar system
Ability to show empathy when interfacing with constituents
Experience working with outside vendors and collaborating with teams internally
Understanding of FMLA and other relevant legal requirements
